Sally Gallichan: Chairman

Sally has over 20 years' experience of the operational and strategic HRD environment, with a particular interest in learning and development and employability. During this time she worked within the commercial and finance sectors before moving to the Jersey Financial Services Commission as Head of HR. More recently, Sally has completed a variety of HRD projects as an independent consultant and was instrumental in setting up the training arm of a local training company.

A Fellow of the CMI, qualified HRD practitioner and NVQ Assessor/Internal Verifier for business and management awards, Sally's achievements include steering a number of organisations towards Investors in People recognition as well as success in both local Training in Business Awards and the National Training Awards. As Chairman of Jersey Employer's Network on disability (JEND), Sally advises and presents on employment, employability and accessibility issues to the local business and support agency communities on a regular basis.

Jackie Marsh: Honorary Treasurer

Jackie is a director at HSBC Private Bank and has responsibility for the Far East and UK regional teams. A member of the Society of Trust And Estate Practitioners (STEP) and International Compliance Association. Jackie has an extensive background in the establishment and administration of a full range of offshore structures having worked in the trust industry for 27 years.

Rachel Larkman: Committee Member

Rachel has a long history with the public sector, both in the UK and Jersey, and has been with the States of Jersey Human Resources department since 2000. Rachel is a keen advocate of equal opportunities in employment and fully supports the work of JEND in working to raise awareness and understanding to ensure this.

Philip Le Claire: Committee Member

Philip is the Employability Training Manager in the Back to Work team at Social Security. Philip has wide ranging of professional experience in both the Private and Third Sector in a variety of roles. His relevant experience in the area of Disability is also broad. He was the founding Chairman of Autism Jersey and subsequently was their Executive Director before moving to a similar role at Mind Jersey, the Mental Health Charity.

Following a time at the Shelter Trust, Philip most recently moved to Social Security to take up this new and exciting opportunity. Philip is the Special Needs Advisor for the Scout Association and has been involved with field of disability for a number of years, having been Vice Chair of the ASD Partnership Board and a member of the Joint Secretariat for People with Special Needs.

Rosy O'Doherty: Committee Member

Rosy is a Senior Occupational Therapist. Rosy qualified in 1982 and worked in Mental Health Services in Northern Ireland for 7 years. In 1990 she moved to Jersey and worked in Adult Mental Health Services, initially in a mental health day centre and then managing a therapeutic workscheme, Jobscope.

Rosy moved to the Pain Clinic in 2011 and she works within a multidisciplinary team and her role is supporting people, with acute and chronic pain states, return to employment. This includes both work retention and vocational rehabilitation.

Rosy also helps deliver educational Pain Management Programmes run by the multidisciplinary team at the Pain Clinic.
